MEETING IN SECOND LIFE

AGENDA

• Find suitable land for the Project
• Must be in a suitable area with a PG rating
• Play around with Prims and Scripts

ABSENTEES - NIL

NOTES

• Most of the time was spent on getting the Second Life to run
• Lots of the guys had trouble with their clients
• A lesson for future work and meeting in Second Life
• We did manage to get everyone together for about half an hour
• In that time we have added everyone to the "critical life" group in preparation for land ownership
• We discovered that the voice chat feature of Second Life works very well, even with comparably slower net connection
• With all the problems going on with the SL client, we didn't manage to find any land
• So we need everyone to continue to look for suitable land in SL over the weekend

ACTION

• Continue to look for suitable land in SL
• Must have a PG rating to comply with the University's standards
• Also each team member needs to spend some more time in SL, tweaking their settings
• In order that we don't run into the same problems with the SL client on the team members computers that we've had on this occasion
